Following Solomon’s sin of clinging to his wives and not God, God told Solomon that he would tear the kingdom from him.  Then we read of two adversaries (Literally “Satan(s)” in Hebrew) who arise, and finally we are told of the new hope/leader for Israel.  What then does this all mean to the church in the twenty-first century?
